Our services.

  • Maryland HQL 4 Hour Course

    Our HQL Course is a 4-hour class led by a Maryland Qualified Handgun Instructor. This course exceeds all requirements by the State of Maryland to submit your HQL application.

    The HQL course includes instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety training, handgun mechanisms and operation.

    Unless otherwise exempt, as of October 1, 2013, a Maryland resident must possess a valid Handgun Qualification License before he/she may purchase, rent or receive a handgun. Details on exemptions may be found on the Maryland State Police website. The Handgun Qualification License is only needed for purchasing, transferring or renting a regulated firearm after October 1, 2013.

  • Maryland Wear & Carry 16 Hour Course (Original)

    Our Maryland Wear & Carry course also known as Handgun Permit Course exceeds all requirements set forth by the State of Maryland. This course will include instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy.

    Designated security personnel (security guards, private detectives, special police, and armored car drivers/guards) must shoot a practical police course of at least 50 rounds, from no further than 25 yards and score at least 70% accuracy. All other applicants must shoot a course of at least 25 rounds, from no further than 15 yards and score at least 70% accuracy. This is a two-day course.

  • Maryland Wear & Carry 8 Hour Course (Renewal)

    Our Maryland Wear & Carry course also known as Handgun Permit Course exceeds all requirements set forth by the State of Maryland. This course will include instruction on state firearm law, home firearm safety, handgun mechanisms and operation, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy.

    Designated security personnel (security guards, private detectives, special police, and armored car drivers/guards) must shoot a practical police course of at least 50 rounds, from no further than 25 yards and score at least 70% accuracy.

    All other applicants must shoot a course of at least 25 rounds, from no further than 15 yards and score at least 70% accuracy. This is a one-day course.

  • USCCA Firearm Courses

    Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; home security and home defense; handgun, shotgun and AR-15 basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

    Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals Course the fundamentals of shooting will be introduced, reviewed and built upon, while also exploring universal safety rules, situational awareness, common types of handguns, ammunition types, and marksmanship skills, advanced firearms handling, defensive pistol fundamentals and the use of deadly force.

  • Force Options Instructor- OC, Handcuff & Baton

    In this course the training covers handcuffing, baton, OC (pepper spray), handcuffing as well as learning to deescalate situations so force does not have to be used. The art of handcuffing is one of the most used tools in law enforcement and being able to handcuff in a safe tactical manner is important to the safety of officers and the subject. There are many styles of handcuffing that are taught, but we believe we’ve taken the best of what is offered and placed it into one course. We also focus on the use of force concepts as well as positions of advantage that allows you to have an increased chance of coming out on top. This course is open to all licensed security officers, special police officers, private detectives, and police officers.

  • AVERT (Active Violence Emergency Response Training)

    AVERT combines active shooter and bleeding contract training to give you and your business the skills you need in almost any emergency situation. With AVERT training, you’ll learn under realistic circumstances how to recognize the signs of danger, react appropriately, and make rapid survival decisions. This course includes videos and hands-on real-world training.

  • Taser Training

    Tasers are hand-held electronic devices capable of delivering neuromuscular incapacitation (NMI) in situations when you are dealing with violent or dangerous individuals. Students will be thought technology associated with Taser devices, nomenclature and operations, troubleshooting, proper probe placement and aiming requirements, safe handling of devices and first aid. This course is open to all licensed security officers, special police officers, private detectives and police officers.
